Imagine there's no heaven,
It's easy if you try,
Yup, very easy to drive some poor person to despair, but I suppose if there was no heaven then there would be...
No hell below us,
Above us only sky,
If there is no heaven (or what our poor often misguided reason defines as "heaven") then DUH. But the same message remains: No hope.
Imagine all the people
living for today...
How typical of the humanist. If we live only for today, then I suppose that means ACTIONS = NO CONSEQUENCES!
Imagine there's no countries,
It isn't hard to do,
Yes, this is beautiful. No countries. One world government. Communism.
Nothing to kill or die for,
I suppose this means that we don't protect others. People have died for freedom (ie Jesus, American soldiers, ect). People have killed to take it away (think Crusades, al-Quaeda, KKK, liberals, ect.)
No religion too,
There will still be hate without religion. It doesn't change human nature.
Imagine all the people
living life in peace...
Brings to mind what WWI was supposed to do: End all wars. That hasn't happened and will not happen until this world ends.
You may say I'm a dreamer,
but I'm not the only one,
Duh.
I hope some day you'll join us,
and the world will be as one.
Impossible. You want to eradicate religion you must mean Christianity as well, but oh no, not the religion of the Church of Liberalism.
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...
Judging by the fact that human nature tends to covet, it's just unrealistic. Nice thought, but won't happen.
Imagine no possesions,
I wonder if you can,
Yep, I can imagine it. North Korea has it. It is called Communism.
No need for greed or hunger,
A brotherhood of man,
Again, human nature will not allow it.

Too bad this song is a musical masterpiece, and yet it had to be ruined with liberalism.
