...easier said then done, we'll need a subspace weapon to try and change the constant c until it's high enough that the sun's own fusion energy causes it to explode.

y would we want to blow up the sun ???u idiots I personally believe that the sun is extremley important. now don't get me wrong tho, I don't give a about the enviroment, but I do enjoy having light. But I love darkness too. oh well I guess I just love things the way they are. But I love change too. I guess I just think the sun is needed, for multiple reasons

Darkness is definately superior to light in almost every aspect.... The only real downside is that you can't see things and thus you're more likely to bump into them, but in a few million years people will evolve sonar like bats have and this will no longer be a problem. Furthermore, thing about all the advantages of being able to see without light. We wouldn't need to waste as much electricity, little kids wouldn't be as afraid of their closets, and the boogie man would have nowhere to hide. It'd be a utopian society!

But if we blew up the sun, I mean as in actully "blowing" it up, wouldn't there be, you know, a shock wave... Supernovas don't exactly leave a lot of planets left. (If the Sun went, it wouldn't go by Supernova, it's just that there still would be a lot of energy output...)

It has a killer clown! What's not to like about that? And aren't we supposed to be talking about power sources here? Anyways. Nuclear power rules and all this solar, wind, tidal stuff is useless crap.

Nuke Power DA Uniqueness: There aren't that many places with Nuclear Power. Link: aff plan calls for more nuke power Brink: more nuke power plants are being built Impact: if aff plan goes into effect, then the world will ...(shudders) BLOW UP!!!!

JerOD, nuclear power plants do not blow up in nuclear explosions. They are safer than fossil fuels so come back and speak on the subject when you are a little less ignorant of reality.

Oh yes, ignorant one, the favorite example of the idiots who oppose nuclear power. Let's see, maybe 30 people died, at most, and before you go off screaming about how many others will get cancer from it, you should know that all such estimates of how many will die is based on the Lineier Hypothesis which is wrong. So, now that we have that and maybe a handful of other deaths, how many deaths do you think fossil fuels cause? I mean, including the Mining (You kind of have to mine more coal to get the same amount of energy as a handful of uranium) the transportation, and most importantly, the toxic emmisions, that leaves us with fossil fuels having killed thousands, maybe even a million or two, while nuclear has killed about a hundred. Face it, compared with nuclear power, everything else just sucks. Why wait for all of this expensive and inefficient solar and wind crap to be developed to an even feasible level while we could simply cut back on fossil fuels now and save lives by going to nuclear.

(to the song homeward bound) In the quiet misty morning, Jerrod needs to shut his mouth, or I shall beat him and choke him until he's bleeding from his ears....and the wind will slice and kill him as his lifeline nears it's end, and he finally stops his singing and the world is good again.
This is the night where you SHUT UP
