Of course. I (secretly) plan on having a happy ending, even though that's so much more boring and sappy. My story really isn't that terrible, except for a few spots where things go down the crapper, only to be fixed a few pages later.

If I ever become a reasonably well-establshed author, I will have to write at least one book where the good-guys have a 1 in a million chance of winning and lose.

Yeah. There is something to be said for having a charecter with some all consuming passion, that once realized, they die, or die in the process of realizing. You know, a good goal, like having Frodo die after throwing in the ring. An occasional martyr is good, I think.

...I really could care less. Self preservation is a mute issue for me. I don't give a crap when I die, I just care about how I die.

You'd prefer not to be fed bit by bit to Worlin's idiotic dog?

Depends. See, if you were to break into my house at any given time, and simply shoot me in the head, I really wouldn't care. I don't even care if you feed my corpse to worlin's dog one bit at a time either, I just would rather not be alive for that one. It's not that I'm worried about being dead, it's more the process of how I become dead where I get a bit picky.

I meant alive and fully capabe of watching as little chunks of you were gouged out and fed to his slobbering, drooling, idiotic dog.

Then I guess I would have to draw the line there. I'd much prefer to die quickly, and in a rather silly way. I really think it would be cool to climb into bed with someone who lives alone, and blow my brains out while they sleep. Isn't that an interesting alarm? Or one of my favorite is OD'ing in someone's bathtub in full diving gear. Just so when they go to take a crap in the morning, or take a shower, they've got to go, what the fck is this? Same thing for the police and coroner, What the fck was this guy thinking? Another one, would be to mail yourself, and commit suicide somehow in transit that they would be able to see from the outside, so when some random person gets you, and opens the box, they've got the corpse of some guy they've never seen. Again, same puzzle factor. Those rank up there on my list of top ten ways to die, that's really what I want from my death, humour, or at the very least, complete confusion.

I'm sorry...there is no other way to say this....that is crazy.....i mean those are all interesting and good ways of dying, but still crazy that you put the thought in....
If I die young, I want it to be doing something spectacular....

What can I say, I find solace much more easily in thantos than eros. I just see life differently I guess.
Okay, this sounds stupidly melodramatic, but personally, I don't want to get old, I want to have a vivid life, and then die.

Ah, but as you so kindly pointed out, I'm infallable. I gave everyone permission to doubt me.

No, absolutely nothing... My life is as close to completely pointless right now as it could possibly be without me being dead.

In breaking news....I've been throwing up for 6 hours straight. I feel absolutely disgusting and I would very much like to die right now, or just not be chronically ill!
